MEMBERS Creed is a founding member and the managing member of our firm. He has spent his entire career in insurance defense. Over his career, Creed has gained substantial experience in all areas of insurance defense litigation, including successfully handling appeals before the Illinois Appellate Court and defending matters in federal court. Presently, he oversees the insurance coverage and specialty claims practices of our firm. Creed received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois College of Law. Creed is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has been admitted pro hac vice for individual cases in Wisconsin, Indiana and Missouri. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois, Defense Research Institute and Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He was a pharmacist for seven years before becoming an attorney. He has successfully handled appeals to the Illinois Appellate Courts for the First and Second Districts. His trial experience is diverse and he has lectured on various legal and medical topics, including the topics of physician errors, medication errors, and the systems to reduce those errors. Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Butler University and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law. Bob is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society. He then spent over two years acquiring significant courtroom experience during which time he tried in excess of 150 cases before juries and judges. He also spent several years defending airlines and manufacturers in aviation and product liability litigation. Barry has extensive trial experience in the areas of product liability, construction litigation, commercial and personal liability, entertainment law, transportation liability and toxic torts. He has also successfully handled appeals before the Appellate Courts of Illinois. Barry received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. Barry is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and U.S. District Court for the Northern District and Central District of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the DuPage Bar Association. E-mail: brobin@tbrmlaw.com Tim is a founding member and practices primarily in the fields of medical malpractice defense (including a specialty in dental and oral surgery matters), healthcare law, and product liability. He has extensive trial and appellate experience. Tim began his career representing physicians and hospitals in Detroit, Michigan, working with one of the largest medical malpractice defense firms in the country. While maintaining his expertise in the area of medical negligence, he has also gained experience in product liability and other civil litigation. Tim has tried dozens of cases to verdict, including medical malpractice matters, personal injury cases, contractual disputes, and copyright and trademark matters (before the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board). Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Tim is admitted to practice in the States of Illinois and Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel and Chicago Bar Association. She has practiced for the past twenty years exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation defense. Her expertise covers all aspects of defense, including medical, legal, and claims processing issues, trials and appeals. Nancy received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado, Master of Arts degree from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law, Lewis and Clark College. Nancy is admitted to practice law in the States of Illinois and Oregon. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Oregon State Bar Association, the Workers’ Compensation Claims Association in Illinois and the Workers’ Compensation Section in Oregon. He is a former special assistant attorney general for the State of Illinois and is an arbitration panelist for the Circuit Court of Cook County. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
